Product Description
Just one spell. Problem solved. How hard can it be? A Rhiannon Godfrey story. Rhiannon Godfrey is a psychic prodigy, but her parents don't see things her way. They think she needs a "normal" high school experience-she wants to stay in trendy Vegas. In the small farming town of Crystal Lake, being Wiccan doesn't exactly help the Godfreys blend in.

Beyond angry, Rhiannon neglects to inform her parents the farmhouse they just bought is haunted. Instead, she decides to use the resident ghost to prove that she belongs back in Dr. Richards's Institute of Parapsychology. Not that dispelling ghosts is her area of expertise, but really, how hard can it be?

And then there's Jared Roberts. Totally hot. For a cowboy, that is. Only problem? He comes with an evil twin sister, the shallow and popular Janet. Janet's only goal is to make Rhee-s life miserable. So when she and her friends decide it's time for a little payback, Rhee goes to her mother's book of spells. Janet needs to be taught a lesson, and what harm can come from a few words?

Just one little spell.

Warning: Read at your own risk! Scary ghosts and magickal moments inside.

This book was offered free on the kinle. The theory is that a free look at an author's work will make fans and they will buy the next book. It works about 10% of the time (for me) and this is one of those times.

I am not the target audience for this book at all. I am far from being a "young" adult, and magic and psychic powers leave me cold. But the main character in this book lept out of the page as a real teen with real problems.

The theory, about giving away a book to get readers, worked. I will buy more of Ms Halls books.

Thanks for the free read

Like many of us, I downloaded the "free" book for my Kindle. When I started to read it, I was caught up immediately with the characters, the story line and the fun read. I even ordered the next two books before I finished the first one. They do not disappoint either. I am way past the Y/A age but think this is fun for all ages.

Love's Magic

A slow but careful reader, I live a book. I cry, I laugh, I feel it. Always having a propensity to learn about senses of the sixth in any capacity, I love when ancient ritual meets modern life.
This seemless, witty teen book is an exciting read. The mom's mindreading, the great kid lingo, make it entertaining and true to a teen's way of thinking. As I read, it connected me with thoughts of scenes from movies such as Mean Girls, Better Off Dead, and X-Men. Add in the main female character in the Casper movie, and bad guys(or in this case, girls) Crabbe and Goyle from the infamous Harry Potter flick and you will be cheering for Rhiannon Godfrey right through to the end.
I thouroughly enjoyed this book and am particularly glad that Traci Hall left enough ends up in the air for a sequel. I will be looking forward to it.

I tried this book simply because it was free but was caught up in it very quickly. The characters seem real and like others have said, seem to have real problems that you get caught up in. You find yourself pulling for them and it brings back memories of high school. I really liked this book and will look for more by this author.

I read this novel because if free for Kindle. I a very nice novel for "young" adult readers.

Rhee's a 14 year old with psychic abilities, is forced to move to Crystal Lake, Washington with her parents. She just wants to go back to the institute and be with her friends, Tanya and Matthew. In the institute they were helping her deal with her psychic abilities. Instead she going to attending an actual high school and it freaked her out.

And then there-s Jared Roberts a totally hot, cowboy, that is only problem is an evil twin sister, the shallow and popular Janet. Janet-s only goal is to make Rhee-s life miserable.
