My grandmother used to hold me up so I could touch this back in the 60's. She had gotten it in Chinatown in L.A.
Alas, I could'nt find one like it anywhere. How happy was I to find it on Amazon!One pane had broken in shipping, but it was easily glued back. As they are very fragile, do not hang outside in much wind. I have them in my kitchen and when the air comes on they make a pleasant tinkling sound.

I purchased 3 of the wind chimes for myself and 2 friends, from House of Rice. They're pretty, but they're very small, and really don't have that sound I recall as a child.
But, they're the cheapest priced, which wasn't really cheap for their size, at $13.00 each, plus shipping. I see that now they're $17.00!

Pretty to look at, dull to the ear!
These glass wind chimes are very disappointing! Don't waste your money. They are not like the "old" glass wind chimes from yesteryear. They have no
melodic sound and are weak at best. Very disappointing.
