My daughter is fascinated with dolphins... and we'd picked up something we thought was going to be durable several months ago. That didn't last more than six months. This toy, however, is promising to be very durable and able to go through the rigors of being a favorite of an almost 3 year old.
I'm very glad that it was 1) affordable and 2) small enough that it's not obnoxious!
